Ten Tips for Effective Public Speaking

Ten Tips for Effective Public Speaking

In my 12 years of experience, after speaking to more than 10 lakhs people, I am going to tell you these 10 steps to effective public speaking, you will be able to speak on stage with confidence and without any fear like me. Not only read all of these steps, but also write them down separately.

1) Prepare: -

In effective public speaking, this is the first and foremost point. You must be prepared according to the topic on which you are going to give the speech and in front of the group. Take enough time to prepare, make full use of Google, newspapers, library and create tremendous content, practice it in front of the mirror, listen to your speech by mobile recording and improve mistakes. Remember that no matter how well you speak, if your content is not good it will not freeze.

2) Join the audience: -

If you want to be a successful speaker, always try to connect with the audience, when you give the listener a friendly atmosphere, talk about their business, their problems, then the listener will never feel lonely. Little stories of your life and things related to his life, little moments of happiness, when you arrive in the middle of your speech, the listener does not take long to adopt you. If they argue in front of the audience, institution, or any specific achievement of that society, then, in response, their mouths are left open because they are surprised to hear how all the speakers came to know.

If you've come to their city before, repeat those things, put the memorable moments of that city in front of them. Talk about the rare monuments there. If you know a few people from that countless crowd and they are respected, mention them with respect.

Always try to say things like you are associated with that city for a long time, you have a lot of love and affection for those people and you also love that city very much. The more these things come out of your heart, the more the listeners will like you, nobody likes artificial things. And the more the audience likes you, the more they will trust you.

3) Maintain eye contact: -

A good speaker always looks into the audience's eyes while giving a speech, doing so reveals his or her self-confidence. You should also keep in mind that instead of looking around you, look at the audience. And also keep in mind that you are not only looking at these special people on one side, but you are also looking at the entire group in turn.

4) Speak to the ground and say: -

Some people start to think of themselves as big as they get on stage and the listener is very normal. Never underestimate the audience for yourself, because the audience is there to listen to you, that's why you are standing on stage. Instead of bragging about important things, make your words accessible to the public in simple terms like an ordinary person. It should always be noted that the great and literary things seem good for praise only, but the common things directly affect the heart of the listener. The more a person talks to the ground and talks, the more fame he gets.

5) Always be positive and encourage the audience: -

Always stay positive about the subject on which you have been called to give a speech. All your enthusiasm should be reflected in your words and in your body. If you've ever seen an auction, how is the keynote speaker bidding enthusiastically that seeing it attracts everyone so much that people bid above their status? Whenever you are about to give your speech to the audience, take yourself to the peak of enthusiasm. Your confidence and enthusiasm will ensure your place in people's hearts.

6) Speak Speak without looking: -

If you want to become an effective Coach / Speaker, you must speak without looking. Of course, you can take some notes with you or you can take the entire speech by writing. But your practice should be such that the listener feels that she is speaking and not reading.

Again, it beats giving a bad speech without looking and seeing the correct words. So if you are not comfortable speaking without looking, instead of trying it on one big occasion, you can try it on small occasions. Anything can be learned by doing, so to become an effective Public Speaker / Coach, you must master the art of speaking without looking.

7) Always Avoid Condemnation, Win Heart Over Praise: -

Avoid condemning the audience or things related to them, it should be noted that the matter that comes out of your mouth will have full effect on the front. Many times we condemn a region and its chaos in a loud and strident tone, you cannot change things overnight condemn, so instead of focusing on a deficiency, instead of focusing on the measures

8) Use humor: -

Good speakers are a great weapon Humor / humor, the use of humor in the middle of the speech keeps the audience engaged and prevents serious topics from being monotonous. An important aspect of humor is to "laugh at yourself" by doing so exposes the humility of your personality. You can make the atmosphere happy by keeping a fun experience related to you among the audience. And also keep in mind that never joke about religion, political party, race, sex, etc.

9) Complete the speech in Time Limit: -

Many times people start off well, but keep dragging their point so much that the audience gets bored. Saying your words in fewer words is an art and a good speaker knows it very well. Therefore, complete your speech in the same amount of time that you have been given for the speech. Remember that a good speaker is not just someone who knows how to start a speech well, but also someone who knows how to stop at the right time.

10) If the speaker is good, then the end: -

The end of the speech should be effective. By the end of the speech, people should be excited or feeling good. You can use a little Shero-Shiry, an inspiring story, or a good quote. Ending the speech on a positive note makes it memorable, and people remember the speaker for a long time. So pay special attention to how the speech ends.

Friends, no matter how much you are speakers today, you can become top-level motivational speakers with practice, patience, and preparation. So, keep these things in mind and get involved in their efforts and join the category of great speakers.

Thanks and all the best!
